Yesterday I presented some of the work we (Yngve Dahl and I) did in the project FARSEEING at Software 2016 in Oslo. The slides are available at my Slideshare. The talk was about our findings from the evaluation of a fall detection service in two nursing homes in Trondheim, Norway.
Software is the main conference organized by the Norwegian computer society (DND). The audience is policy-makers and leaders from the software industry in Norway. The topic of the conference was to discuss digitization of the Norwegian society, as a new way of earning money after the oil era. Our talk was about how IoT is getting close to our everyday lives, and how it affects some of the most intimate situations. The talk is based on our papers here and here.
